Randy Ward, CFP®, CExP™
Randy is dedicated to making a difference for business owners, professionals, and families through a comprehensive process focused on helping them achieve their most important life and financial goals. He works with clients from a “planning first” perspective to help ensure that 5…10…30 years in the future, they will have arrived where they hoped to be. As Yogi Berra used to say, “If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
In addition to developing personal plans for individuals and families, Randy works with business owner clients who desire an exit within the next few weeks to 10 years. In partnership with the Exit Planning Group at SFP, Randy and the team “quarterback” the process of examining personal and business exit goals and help coordinate a myriad of financial, tax, and legal implications in order for clients to feel confident in the decisions they make and have a clear roadmap for successfully departing their business.
To put together a comprehensive long-term fee-based financial plan, Randy embraces his legal and ethical duty to always act in his clients’ best interests.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Christian University, as well as a number of securities registrations. He started with Strategic Financial Partners in 2013 and earned SFP’s Rising Advisor of the Year award for 2014, 2015, and 2016 as well as national Securian awards: Diamond Achiever Advisor of the Year for 2014 and Diamond New Advisor of the Year for 2015.
Randy enjoys spending time four-wheeling, snowboarding and hiking in the Rockies with his wife, Krista, and their two sons, Hudson and Jones. He is currently serving as the Immediate Past Chair for the Pikes Peak United Way Emerging Leaders Counsel, which focuses on the importance of education, income, and health for teenagers and young adults.
